Kateryna Mukhina is an attorney at Hillstone Law Accident & Injury Attorneys, where she zealously advocates for the injured victims who are short-changed by insurance companies. Prior to joining Hillstone Law, Kateryna worked as an employment law and motion clerk where she focused on employment discrimination and retaliation under FEHA, wrongful termination, and wage and hour violations. As a law and motion clerk, Kateryna has engaged in extensive legal research and motion-writing.
She has co-authored an appellate brief in the matter of Cruz v. Cedar Construction & Development, Inc., where the Court of Appeal of California, Second District overturned the trial court’s ruling on summary judgment that a construction worker was an independent contractor, rather than an employee, under the ABC Dynamex test. Kateryna started her career as a legal assistant at a consumer protection lemon law firm and was called to become an advocate herself. Kateryna is originally from Ukraine and speaks 3 languages: English, Russian, and French.
